ISDN Protocol Stack For DAHDI board
An almost ready to run system can be easily developed by using a COTS software module that allows any SIP capable IP-PBX, such as the Asterisk PBX, to access ISDN, RBS and R2 networks by using any T1, E1, or J1 plug in card that is DAHDI capable. This driver can be used in the same server as the SIP product, or in a standalone device as a protocol converter. This interworking software also is a great start for your SIP-ISDN or SIP-RBS/R2 gateway.
Features should include:
- Worldwide PSTN connectivity
- ISDN PRI
- QSIG
- T1 RBS for North America
- E1 R2 for many countries
- Runs on same server as PBX or other SIP application.
- No special API required
- No Ethernet ports required
- Works with off-the-shelf PRI/T1/E1 cards
- Interfaces to standard Zaptel/DAHDI driver
- Runs under Linux OS
- Optional source code license
